Hey y'all! This week's Photography Friday is a mishmash of different photos from around our house. I have some update photos on the kittens as well as some new photos from our garden.
Oliver is really growing and enjoying the yard. Sunny days are best for lazing in the sun!
Mabel definitely agrees with the laying the sun philosophy! Bright sunshine is always best for catnaps!
Unfortunately, Oliver has yet to coexist peacefully with Finn. He still hisses whenever Finn comes with four feet of him.
This photo of Mabel came out much better than I expected, with her green eyes popping from the color in the background. This is also one of the only pictures I have of her face!
Since Kenya was an English colony, lavender grows profusely here. Most people have it in their yards and gardens. We have a good sized selection of it in ours.
This butterfly is looking a bit battered after its fight for life with Oliver's playful paws. I got it away from him and onto these flowers, but I don't know what came of it.
We only have three strawberry plants in our yard, but they're blooming right now and hopefully we'll have some strawberries soon.
We have a mango tree in our yard, and it has finally produced more than one mango. I'm not sure why it hasn't produced more sooner, but I hope that it will continue to produce many mangoes.
We also have black raspberry vines in our yard. They are growing wild all and up into one of the trees. They don't produce much currently.
Passionfruit is also a common fruit in Kenya. Its flavor is used in many different products. I have enjoyed growing several vines. This fruit is not yet ripe.
I hope y'all have enjoyed these photos! Have a blessed day!
