Hello all! Today I'll be sharing photos from two different places we've been since the beginning of May. The first six are from Kijani Farm, a farm run by some missionaries who are a part of the organization my parents are with. We had a lot of fun over the weekend and below are some of the photos I took while we were there.
The last four are from the Giraffe Centre, a place near our house where you can feed giraffes. The place was started as a breeding facility for the Rothschild's giraffe which was on the edge of extinction in the 1900s.
Photo #1- Some of type of yellow daisy I saw on a walk we took
Photo #2- An interesting peice of wood sticking up in the middle of a field just begging to be photographed
Photo #3- A red and yellow barbet that one of my brothers saw in a hedge of thorns. I never would have seen it, but I'm glad he stopped me to show it to me.
Photo #4- An interesting white flower that I can't find the name of
Photo #5- A dung beetle starting to roll a bit of dung into a ball
Photo #6- A dead plant that seemed like an interesting picture
Photo #7- A giraffe at the Giraffe Centre near our house
Photo #8- A giraffe's eye
Photo #9- A giraffe's mane
Photo #10- A good view of a giraffe's ear
Have a good weekend and comment below with your favorite!!
