For those of you who like Amish romance, Jennifer Beckstrand is an author to consider. I only have one of her books, The Amish Quiltmaker and the Unexpected Baby, but I've read most of her books on the online library. Her characters are quirky but relatable (even though they're Amish!). Her books are full of humor and laughter.
Jennifer Beckstrand's books are good for a light easy read. They're neither too deep nor too hard to read. Of course, since the books are Amish, I don't quite agree with her theology. Otherwise, they're clean, cheerful romances. I can't express how quirky her chracters are. They each have some funky thing about them.
For instance, the main character in The Amish Quiltmaker and the Unexpected Baby tends to tuck things behind her ear, whether it's pencil, a ruler, a carrot stick, or some other odd thing.
Her books are all mostly series, though she has stories in a few anthologies. Here are some of her series.
The Amish Quiltmaker series
#1- The Amish Quiltmaker's Unexpected Baby
#2- The Amish Quiltmaker's Unruly In-Law
#3 The Amish Quiltmaker's Unconventional Niece
#4- The Amish Quiltmaker's Unlikely Match
#5- The Amish Quiltmaker's Uninvited Guest- coming in 2024
The Honeybee Sisters series
#1- Sweet as Honey
#2- A Bee in Her Bonnet
#3- Like a Bee to Honey
The Petersheim Brothers series
#1- Andrew

#3- Austin
The Matchmakers of Huckleberry Hill
I won't list all of these because this is her longest series, ranging from somewhere between 9 and 11 books (I'm not sure). I've read all of these except the last two Quiltmaker ones. I think they're hilarious and definitely worth the read if you're looking for a funny romance.
