Christmas Pics w/ the Animals

· Photos,Life

Merry Christmas, everybody!!

The Christmas season is one of my most favorite times of the year, But only in Kenya. Christmas is so commercialized in the US, that I even had a hard time last year for the first bit of the Christmas season we were there. All the traditions, decorations, treats, music that come with Christmas, as well as the story of the beginning of our redemption through the birth of Jesus culminate together to make this a beautiful time.

However, one other thing that really makes it Christmas for me is the heat. Kenya's seasons are opposite of America, so our Christmas is hot. It just doesn't seem like Christmas to me when it's cold. Christmas is supposed to be warm.

Some of you are probably wondering what's going on with my health, so I'll give a quick update here. I had a doctor's appointment Monday and she said I was all good and even wrote a letter for Capernwray. Now we are just waiting for Capernwray to get back to us with whether or not I've been approved to come. If I am, I will be leaving either the 7th or 8th of January.

But that's not really the point of this post, so without further ado, I present to you the cute and funny pictures I took of the pets, although not the cats. They wouldn't have stood for this kind of thing.

Photos #1, 2, 3, 4- Finn (He wasn't cooporating, so I had to get the treats out.)
